Bio

Katiuska Gonzalez was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and received her degree in Civil Engineering from Santa Maria University. She owned, managed, and worked as a civil engineer at her own company in Venezuela. Afterwards, Katiuska traveled extensively and lived in cities such as Chicago, San Francisco, Mykonos, Paris, Provincia de Buenos Aires, and currently Miami.

It is in this last city that Ms. Gonzalez studied her real passion: painting. She studied at Miami-Dade College under the tutelage of master painter Baruj Salinas – an artist she considers her mentor, inspiration, and friend. 

Katiuska has exhibited her artwork in more than 40 different venues, including the well-regarded Arte Americas, Alliance Francaise South Florida, Japan Cultural Week with the Consulate-General of Japon in Miami, and more across various cities throughout the United States and Europe. Her work has gained critical recognition and honorable mentions.
